Review
DirectFlashDown is a tiny application that may become really a useful tool in the store of experienced Internet surfers. This utility was developed for detecting flash files on a web page, downloading them and saving to the user's computer. Downloaded files can be saved in SWF format.
The program has a very easy-to-use interface. Its main window consists of two parts. One of them is some kind of Internet Browser that allows one to view web pages; and the second is the list of all flash files that are detected on an opened web page. A right mouse button click on any of the found flash files will open a special menu that can be used for saving the file, copying its path into the clipboard or just removing it. The extra feature of DirectFlashDown is the possibility of looking through the temporary folders of your Internet Explorer and searching for flash files there. The application has a small help file where you can find some information about it. It has very low system requirements and doesn’t require a lot of space on your hard drive. |
